Look who just turned three:

There’s something to be said for the posed family portrait, where everyone gathers and looks at the camera…  but there’s a different kind of light that shines through pictures that follow the eyes of a child, where the child’s sense of wonder or curiosity or delight naturally takes her…  and I have to confess, those shots have a special place in my heart:
