I had so much fun with my first go at a family photo shoot with our friends Sara & Eric and their sweet boys:  big brother Peyton and baby Everett.

How precious is he?

Eric was holding Everett when I arrived, and I shot a few right off the bat, just to dive in, and shake off the “I am impersonating a photographer” nerves.  And once I started seeing the light and life and love through the lens, the moments took over, and the nerves were gone.

We piled the family on the couch, where it quickly became clear that the challenge was going to be keeping Peyton in the picture.

Sara had a good sense of some nice spots in her home for photos and Peyton was delighted to use the bed to show me his jumping skills.  Thank you for not landing on your brother, Peyton!
